Since I started this thread I wanted to update my progress. I went with the F150LEDS's. I can't say I'm overwhelmed but it is just a fog light. The color match is spot on. You can judge for yourself with the attached pictures.

Whoa, looks like major light scatter with the LED. No cut off line at all. I’ll bet that produces a lot of glare to oncoming traffic.
I'm afraid you may be right. I haven't driven it yet but it appears to only be an improvement in color. Definitely not a good pattern. Not sure what the final outcome will be.

This comparison should be posted in every thread where someone says an LED bulb in a halogen housing is “fine”. You couldn’t have proven that theory more wrong if you had tried.

Exactly what I was thinking. LED bulbs have no business in halogen housings. The optics are NOT designed for it. I’d be ordering the OEM LED fogs ASAP.
I certainly learned something. I'm going to return these. The color is perfect but the functionality is definitely worse. Not sure exactly what to do next.
