Hahaha. I think he was talking about hard work and work ethic which is non existent in the majority of Americans as you can see by the tax base. Not Jesus and God.

Exactly. Too many people in the US want instant gratification without putting in the effort. And then of course when they fail, they simply blame everyone but themselves.

I have a friend that blames all of his problems on Obama. Guess if you are going to blame someone, go big!

Apparently now God and Obama will help you decide whether to lease or buy.

I'm sure Obama has a cell phone number you can call to ask his opinion. God... Well not so much. Good luck praying.

Why is it if the Pope hears God's voice, he's a saint? But if I hear voices, I'm crazy?

Just something to think about.

Well I believe that the point that Hackker is trying to make is that buying the vehicle is the better financial decision but only if you have the money. If you do not have the money to buy the vehicle then get something cheaper that you can afford.

If you'd like you can lease the truck and try to tell everyone how your not getting bent over and anyone who understands how leases work will sit back and shake their heads. Those that think they understand will nod with you because they to do not want to believe that they were bent over as well.

Regardless of your decision it will be the right one because it is the one you made. The fact that you have put so much time and effort into this already means you have made your decision to lease and nothing any one of us financially responsible individuals says is going to change your decision.

Now I cannot take the buy vs lease debate anymore or I am going to have to gouge my eyeballs out with forks.

Technically it's in Ford's favor. Not the dealer's.

However you can sell or trade the vehicle instead of turning it in if it's worth more than the residual. The residual just guarantees a minimum value, not a maximum.

Traded in a 1996 GMC Safari that I owned since new and did a two year lease on a 2015 xlt sc sport. The Safari was a 20 year commitment...now it's time to play the dating game. In the end do whatever pleases you as long as it is within your means.
