Hey guys,

New member, first post! I've browsed these forums a number of times but I'm now looking to buy a new F150 and want to make sure I get it right!

Just had a question on the interiors of the Lariats... I test drove one with the Chrome pkg yesterday and I noticed the upper half of the interior is a dark grey which I don't particularly care for.

I know with the adobe interior you get the lighter ceiling, but I really like the black leather. So, 2 questions -

1 - Does the chrome pkg always come with the grey ceiling area if you get black leather? I've seen some pictures where I can't tell!!

2 - Does the sports pkg have a different color ceiling? I can't find any concrete pictures that I know are sport lariat. I know the XLT Sport is black ceiling.

Here is a pic that makes me think chrome pkg might be able to come with lighter ceiling:

Any help here?? I hate to be picky about the ceiling but it's the only real gripe I have.

Mine is all black except the roof area which is gray.

The pics I linked were to a 2 tone bronze fire & chrome pkg. Sounds like it will have the grey ceiling. I may want to track down a sport pkg... or maybe I'll live with it.

The only downside with sport pkg is no 2 tone paint available. But, overall, interior is more important than exterior when it comes down to it.

OH! Another question, is the trim also the dark wood? Or do they swap that out for another material / color? If you could take a picture I'd be wayyy thankful

On the Sport, the trim is a carbon-fiber-look gray. With the Chrome appearance, it's faux wood.
