Lane Keeping System, "Alert + Aid" Mode
Has anyone tested the mode referenced in the topic title?
Mine will only provide steering correction with this mode selected, not the vibration of the steering wheel.
When I select just "Alert" it will vibrate the steering wheel.
When I select just "Aid" it will provide steering correction only, as expected.
When I select "Alert + Aid" it behaves as if only "Aid" is selected.
Anything I can do other than another 80 mile round trip to my dealer?

Mine behaves the same way.. Put a lot of highway km's on and tested it out quite thoroughly. I believe (don't hold me to this) that when in alert only, you will receive the vibration, which you can adjust the intensity of in case you were unaware. And when in alert + aid, the vehicle will adjust slightly on its own to keep you within the lane, if you take your hands off the wheel and allow it to do so a few times an alert will pop up with sound and it will read "keep hands on steering wheel".

I believe in Alert + Aid mode when you start to slightly drift from the lane it will bump you back in, but if you continue to go out of the lane it will then alert you. I was showing my dad the feature today and told him to go outside the lane and I think he had such a grip on the wheel that he didn't feel the "aid" and when he went far enough out it vibrated.

If you hug the line the wheel will auto correct. I find if you over power the wheel and keep drifting then the lane detection turns off until it recognizes the lines again. If you keep drifting without trying to correct then it will or should vibrate. I find its not always the same feedback with the wheel in all scenario's in regards to vibration.
