Kr and Plat seats and double sunroof
Ok we have been really test sitting and getting friendly with the two trucks as a replacement with the 2013. I noticed yesterday the seats are thinner in the seat back area and the headrests are vastly smaller than the 2013. Since its a lot to ask to be able go for two hour highway drive in the 2015, I am looking to know is the thinner seat back is still as supportive as the 2013 seats?
sunroof....is it quieter than the old ones at mod rate speeds 45- 55
we found yesterday two finalists
a plat and kr, identical options, one bronze fire and the plat tuxedo black. kr has the expensive 36 gallon tank and the plat has the 195 one hehehehehe

I had a 2013 XLT so no leather whereas my 2015 has leather.
That said, I also noticed that the seats and headrests appeared thinner. But I can tell you that they feel very nice and are quite comfortable. I'm a big guy (6'2" and 290 lbs) and feel great in them. I even take a quick power nap at lunch sometimes with the driver's seat fully reclined, and it feels firm, solid and strong.
Again, comparing fabric to leather, but still...quite pleased. In fact, the seats were one of the things I noticed first and was pleasantly surprised after seeing their "thinness".

I had a 13 KR that I traded for the 15 KR and the 15 is quieter and I have the roof. It's crazy how quite this truck is!!
Seats are more comfortable than the 13 and have that great massage feature.

I've got the loaded Platinum and we took a 2 hour road trip down and back. Seats were fine and massaging all the way. Cabin is quiet with the sunroof closed. Are you talking about it making noise when driving with the roof open? If so I believe all cars do that. Open the sliding rear window and it'll get rid of that fluttering noise.

I have a 2015 KR and it has the massage seats the only difference was that it was an option not standard like it is on the Plat. The trucks can be loaded out to be the same feature wise except for the leather. The KR leather is specific to the model, I personally feel its more comfortable and broke in alot nicer my captains chairs in the front feel like leather recliners now. It all boils down to preference when it comes to the leather but the trucks are identical otherwise in potential features.

I too noticed that the seatbacks seemed thinner than in other vehicles, but don't let looks deceive you. My platinum seats are the most comfortable I've ever had in any car and I just came from a Lexus GX sport-ute.

With sunroofs open, my '15 Platinum is quieter compared to my '12 FX4.
