Ko2 switch to ridge grappler?
need some input.. I’m currently running ko2 on my truck in 285/55/20 D rated tire. I have 13k miles on the tires but there have always had some vibration running 65+. Just had them rotated and rebalanced . The tech asked if I had any vibration issues, because two of the tires needed a lot of extra weight to balance. After balance they still don’t ride great..I was thinking of changing out my tires for 275/60/20 ridge grapplers in xl load not the e rated ones or p275/60/20 falken wildpeak at3w. I know the ridge grapplers are agressive falkens not as much but would they ride any better then ko2?

I was running KO2 275/65R20 before I went to Ridge Grapplers. My KO2s rode just fine and they were quiet. I'm running a pretty big tire now at 35x12.5R20 in the Ridge Grapplers and I absolutely love them. They have the aggressive look I was going for without going full mud tire and they're quiet on the road. They only have 5000 miles on them now so time will tell if they start making noise. I really think you'll be pleased with the Ridge Grapplers if you decide to go that route.

Ridge Grapplers are awesome. They're on my truck now. I actually like the K02's a lot too, I've run them on a previous truck. The Nitto's are more aggressive though, not just for looks but for off-roading, so that's a big advantage. They both rode great for me. Can't go wrong with the Ridge Grapplers.

I've got the Falkens in 285/70R17 and they are great tires. I've put about 6 or 7k miles on them, including some offroad including mud. They work great in all conditions so far. They do have more road noise than the OEM 20" Hankook A/Ts, but that tire was almost completely silent.

I ran 275/70/18 KO2s @ 40 psi.
Pro: smooth and quiet as stock
Con: somewhat slick on pavment
Then I ran 295/55/20 Ridge Grapplers @ 40 psi.
Pro: better traction overall (even on dry payment compared to KO2s which was odd).
Con: nothing really. There is a slight hum but i like that sound
Bottomline, for the price you pay, I would go with Ridge Grapplers.
