Should look like a similar truck with fixed running boards. They are one of my favorite features on my truck, not sure why you'd want to get rid of them but I'd suggest buying a truck without them if you haven't purchased one already.

I've got a two-tone Lariat with the chrome OEM boards. Looks just like a KR just without the emblems...

Favorite feature of mine too---they come in very handy when needed and tuck out of the way when not, nice clean appearance, he is probably thinking one less thing to break--but in reality this truck can break allot of things hahaha

Yes those look good, did they come from the factory or did you put them on?

Why not just set them to stay out?

This is my first F150 with the Power Running Boards and I am enjoying the look. My wife and MIL (she lives with us) like the Power Running Boards since they split the distance and make getting in the truck much easier.

The Power Running Boards do sit lower/extend out further 2" and could more easily get damaged. I have noticed a few curbs pretty close in some old parking lots.
