Keeping undercarriage clean
Does anyone spray undercarriage, like fender wells, rubber components, etc, with any type of protectant, maybe WD40 or silicone spray, to keep parts lubed and make them easier to clean?
I was at the car wash and I noticed a crew cleaning up their work truck and they had a big bottle of WD40 they used to spray everywhere they could reach. They were spraying fender wells, leaf spring bushings, shock bushings, suspension arm bushings, and all. Looks like it might make it easier to rinse dirt away.
I am probably going to pick up a new truck this week. Will be my fifth F150. I will usually crawl underneath and spray paint any bare components to slow down rust formation.

I like Suave's all purpose shower gel for me: hair, body, shave.
Wait....what undercarriage are we talking about here?
