Looking for a 2017 3.5L Lariat and here is the price the dealer gave me. They've used this truck for the dealership so it has roughly 2500 miles. In the image he has given me the price but I am asking to be at $45K. Thoughts? It has pretty much everything I'd be looking for.

40,104-4800 = 35,304

I paid 35,428.
Would you mind sending me your quote sheet or actual invoice with your personal info blacked out? I'm in the same market and in FL too. Thanks

We can't help you, if you don't help us!

I can easily see that you haven't read all the valuable information in this thread and especially how multiple buyers having gone through the process of trying to get a deal on Demo trucks.

Go back around 75 pages and read what you need to come back here with and then tell us if you're still interested in a Demo. The thread will help you calculate your numbers and you yourself will see where you stand at this Dealer offer and whether you think that number you picked out from somewhere is a reasonable target price.

Then, you can come back here for us to double check the numbers you come up with plus give us key information. You don't even mention whether the Dealer is Selling this truck as 'USED' or 'NEW' which he should show on a quote sheet. Writing down a single number on a Window Sticker means diddly to me.

Right now you have not provided any information to go on at all.

was no way I was going to pay the same for a demo with 3k miles.... got $3k more between the truck and trade... They honored the pricing when they had to go to the no mileage version, so I felt like I came out pretty good for my area

Well I've been shopping f150s pretty hard the last couple months and finally pulled the trigger on one. I had a ford ranger that was getting old and were expecting a baby soon so it was time to get something bigger and brand new. I was pretty happy at first but now I wonder how good a deal I got. The guys I'm comparing my price to got way overcharged so I'm not comparing Apple's to Apple's. Got a 2017 xlt 302a 4x4 super crew 5.0 for 43k and change otd after taxes and 100k bumper to bumper ford warranty. Taxes were $2,765 and warranty was $1,475 so you can subtract that out for purchase price. Guy wanted to go with his dealers warranty but i only wanted a Ford warranty for less hassle in the future and it was actually cheaper. It was a dealer demo and had 3k miles on it. I like the truck but I'd like leather, cooled seats, sync connect, and sunroof but I'd have to upgrade to lariat for all that and I just didn't wanna spend that kind of money on a truck. This price was by far the best I found after going to close to a dozen dealers and talking on the phone to countless others. Most demos aren't 4x4 and have the 2.7. Most new similar optioned trucks I found were closer to 47k otd before a warranty.

That number tells us nothing.

Have your read any of this thread? I recommend you start reading at page 300 and work your numbers until you yourself understand how to calculate a good discount.

Then you can come back here to ask what we think along with everything we need to know about your deal. I hope they gave you a quote sheet with a breakdown as to how they got to that final number.

We can't help you, if you don't help us!

Some or all of the information below is missing.

Review what you provided to see what information is missing from the list below. If you don't have certain info or documents listed here then be sure to tell us that too! It's best to copy/paste the following list into your 'Reply' and answer after each line item. Blue text would be helpful.

There is also a document requirement to have your deal reviewed accurately. You need to provide images or links to the Window Sticker or Dealer website listing for your truck. If you already have a quote, posting the quote sheet is better than you trying to type numbers out of order which may make no sense. You should ALWAYS request a Dealer provide a quote in a .pdf format document so you have proof of your pending numbers.

YOUR Zip Code (where the truck will be registered)
Did you go to the Dealer and deal directly with a Salesperson yet?
Are you planning to use the Ford Conditional Offer - $1,250 Ford Credit Customer Cash if available to you?
Are you planning to trade-in?
Do you qualify for any additional incentives like Military, First Responder, College Graduate or Grad Student, etc.,?
Doc/Processing Fee - Dealer charge (You need to find this out and provide it one way or another)
Have you looked at other Dealer inventories so don't have to count on one Dealers quote?
Would consider a travel to get a better deal - maybe in another State?

Documents:

Window Sticker (a must) DONE
Truck listing link on Dealer's website (not important if you gave a Window Sticker and don't want others to know where it is)
Price Quote Sheet (very helpful for us to see facts)(print - whiteout Dealer/Your Info - take picture and post image)

- 4,500 he claims I qualify for $4,500 in rebates including $1,250 FMC rebate

+ 150 doc fee
$44,059 Out the door price

This was their first stab but it looks pretty tight. Is there anything left on the bone here?
Might ask to throw in a bed extender. Thoughts. Are my numbers good?
Alright had to change trucks as someone scratched the original one after I had looked at it.

So here's where I settled

51,635 MSRP
1,295 Destination
50,340
6,287 Dealer Discount (12.5%)
45,348 Price before rebates
5,250 in total rebates $4,500 + $750 private customer cash
40,098 net price
140 doc fee
40,238 final price + TT&L I couldn't get them to 13% but I'm pretty happy with the deal. Had been working them for about a week.

Why didn't you do the Ford Credit to get an additional $1,250? Otherwise you did great!
