Congrats on your new truck
Good luck. You'd think they would get a clue at some point. I felt that way in October. If you get an out of state truck does it have to be a Cali emissions version that they sale in a handful of states?

I'm pretty sure Ford only makes 50-state vehicles now... at least all of the one's I've looked at are 50-state... The only trick is making sure the dealer calculates the right tax, and I'll have to take care of the registration when I get it back.

From what I've seen looking for "the right deal" CA emission trucks are in states like NV, MA, ID, etc where as TX trucks are not. They state "California Emissions" on the window sticker, so not all trucks are CA emissions legal. I could be wrong but that's just what I've observed.

Got a 750 voucher today in a 17 brochure I requested last week. Kind of useless though since it expires 11/23 and says ineligible with A-plan. For those looking for a voucher just keep requesting a brochure.. took me 3 try's. finally got one and have nothing on the lots configured how I want.

I too got a $750 voucher yesterday in a flyer for 2017 F250's & F150's. Hadn't requested a brochure recently, and it's been a year or so since I've last seen a voucher. Mine is good till Jan 2017, so thankfully I have a little time.

Any pointers on high volume dealers in the across the US? I'm willing to make a road trip for the right price. Looking for a 4x4 SCREW 5.0 Lariat 5.0, 501a, 36 gal, 3.55 or higher with Sony radio, preferably w/o a moonroof.

Feel free to name names. I know TX has a bunch, but I'm not familiar with which dealers are high volume or not. Though being TX and the amount of trucks that are sold in the state, maybe all the dealers are high volume. I wish we had access to the Search tool Dealers have. They can perform really granular searches. The ford.com search site sucks as many here know.

I would go to a big city like Houston or Dallas if you're considering Texas. I bought mine at Mac Haik Houston - they had what I wanted and gave some good deals but I believe Sam Pack's 5 Star Ford in North Richland Hills is another big volume dealer.

Okay, a couple of questions...
I am in the market for a 3.5eb 4x4 Scab, with max or regular tow, 3.55 locker, and the extended tank. I, too, am in southern California. This truck doesn't exist here...I have found a couple in Oregon and Washington, but they are holding out for 1 to 1.5 K above invoice. Found some in Idaho, but they don't have the California emissions, so no go.
Some of the incentives expire near or at the end of November. Historically, does the month of December see more and heavier incentive offered?
I also received a voucher which expires November 23. But I'm confused...it offers $1,250 cash back or 6.9% APR and $750 bonus cash...says the bonus cash requires Ford Credit financing...so the $1,250 Cash Back is not incumbent on financing?
Last one....since the dealers are being tight on the '16's, I'm contemplating ordering a '17, which the local dealer will do @ invoice. Is there usually incentives during the course of the year, and if there are, what are they worth?

Many thanks

TedBritt and Koons are pretty big in VA, and I believe VA has CA emissions.

Actually, only thirteen states sell California emission f-150's...with only Oregon and Washington (and of course California) being the others west of the Mississippi. The rest are all New England and eastern seaboard states. I would have thought Nevada would have...
Tried to buy a truck from New Mexico, but I couldn't bring it in. Am surprised that not all vehicles are 50 state vehicles these days. California emissions equipment must be expensive if Ford goes to so much trouble to avoid it in the other states.

Still in the hunt for a left over 16 here. Dealer has a Lariat 501A with V6 3.6L. MSRP $55,320, savings $-9,420, dealership price $45,900.

Optional Equip: Caribou accent, Chrome package, two tone paint, trailer tow package, twin panel moon roof.

What would be a good price to come in at with them?
