Default Spare Tire Lock Cover Replacement

So, randomly I noticed that the key cover for my spare tire lock is gone? I guess I must have stepped on it using the bumper to get in and out of the tailgate.
Anyone know of the part number for a replacement?

It's called a spare tire compartment cover or bumper cover. Sites like www.varsityfordparts.com. A comparable part number is 2T1Z-1K359-A, but that comes up for a 2018, couldn't find the 2017, which should be identical.

This is what I have on my 2018 F150, notice the squared off top and bottom of the cover in the link below (it contains a good picture of the cover)...

...versus the rounded off design of the 2T1Z-1K359-A I found. This part number comes up for a Transit. Possibly used (or could be used) in both vehicles.

From both links you can see that the covers do look different, but would either cover fit your cylinder? I don't know from just looking at the pictures in the links. Hoped I could find something more definitive (especially considering how straight-forward the need appears to be), hopefully someone else will.

^^^^^Maybe a junkyard (or similar) find for just the snap shut cover piece. Otherwise, it looks like part number FL3Z-1543262-A for the whole assembly.

I may have purchased my first vehicle from Varsity.
Been many years and now I'm across the country.
There are a lot of detroiters on the site -reminds me of home. tee hee

Realizing that the spare tire access lock would freeze solider than a block of penguin s**t in snow and ice conditions, replaced it with a rubber grommet from a Dodge Dakota differential plug in case I got a flat tire in the winter. Works great. Not sure of the size measurements.

If you keep that lock mechanism lubed once a year, you wouldn’t have any issues. My old 2008 F150 had the same lock, it still worked as good as new 14 years later.
