OK - I don't remember who did or didn't - dealing with many different situations - read on then so you know this stuff backward & forward!

Oh, and your total rebates would be $6,300 because of that Farm Bureau you said you have. Is that TX? Other States only have $500.

My calculations, please correct me if I'm wrong

50,800.....MSRP
- 1,295 Destination charge
= 49,505
- 5,940 12 percent discount....That's being optimistic
- 7,000 Rebates
= 36,565
+ 1,295 Destination Charge
= 37,860
+ 2,460 Sales Tax 6.5 percent in my area
= 40,320 Total plus any license title and Doc fees

I don't believe ILL allows you to deduct Rebates before applying Sales Tax. You'll need to know the Doc Fee because that may need to be added to the Cash Sales Price it's probably also taxed. Therefore, you need to correct both so it will be slightly higher total. Other than that your math looks right with your 12% in ILL optimism.

This as ugly as I think it is? I'm still trying to get a grip on TDD and expectation on XL in Texas but this seems pretty poor to me. Didn't follow my instructions preparing the offer either.

So you told them about having a Private Cash offer and the Farm Bureau Incentive?

Did you become a member of the FB? Have you called Ford Customer Relations and registered your info with them? Do you get ANY kind of Ford brochures ever in the mail or maybe by email/ Did you sign up to create an account on Ford.com?

It's no matter. They said they're not budging and that "deal" isn't any good. On to the next...

OK - so I'm going to stop right here. You haven't read through this thread carefully but you're shopping trucks already. Right out of the gate, you're making the classic mistakes which have been discussed entirely many times over. Of course the Dealer has a system they look you up with and you haven't read the thread to know how to have prevented that. In turn, the Dealer sees you have a cash windfall and they won't give you anything extra from their pockets.

Until you stop shopping and read the thread - I'm not going to waste any of my time to help you out, because at this point, you're your own worst enemy.

2018 stx 2.7 ecoboost
zip code 26505
MSRP 43,565
Quick question, if I calculate a 12% or even 11% discount that is still less than A plan pricing on this invoice sheet. Is that likely to happen? What would be your target price on a truck like this?
