Doc Prep fee $80

By my calculations that is a Dealer discount of 12.4%

Happy Day
Is that a true 'Total MSRP' # in the blue box?

halfway through the paperwork process dealer came back and told me they could not sell the truck to me because a new recall came out today on the rear seatbelt airbag ... parts would not be available until October.... will not be able to sell any truck effected by this recall this weekend or until parts are available...
Long story short - they agreed to get me the same config from another dealers Platinum stock that was not effected by the recall - very few were available but they found one - with 10 miles on it for same price as the demo. Also gave me a extremely good price on my trade.

Might be an opportunity for someone looking for a platinum to negotiate a better deal if your willing to wait...

midwest region
That recall saved your *** from overpaying on that high mileage demo and no adjustment to show for it. Of course he could get you into another one - NEW - because they were screwing you on the demo.

2017 F-150 Lariat Special Edition Sport. Sticker was 62,950. I work for a Ford dealer and my
D plan price was 52,350 before any other items. Dealership rules for employee purchase cars,
100 dollars over actual invoice.
3500. in rebates and 12,500. trade brought it down another 16,000 before standard add ons.
I feel this was an awesome deal, they also went and got it from another dealer on the west coast of Florida.

Does anyone have a quote sheet for an XLT sport 302a 4x2 SCrew? Would love to be armed with that info.

5500 in rebates would leave it at $43,078 + TTL and fees....
Yeah, my Dealer made a $100 mistake because they didn't add back the right Destination charge they deducted to try and fool Buyers with a perceived low advertised Offer.

Ask him is that $599 not your gross profit also. Tell him NY caps that fee at $75.00 and all the Dealers here still have people doing the paperwork without a problem. That Doc Fee actually brings your deal back down to 9% Dealer discount while David makes $100 and they still make more than the $7 he claims.

Tell him you want David's $100 (he should stop selling cars and get a real job anyways), their $7 net net net profit for lying to you because they make more than that through Ford's kickbacks to them and you want only $500 of the Doc fee because you're feeling generous.

Seriously though, you need to have them come down another $500 to $47,878 and you have a good deal as far as NC goes. They'll probably tell you they can't so sit back and wait it out.

BTW, congrats on that $750 Private Cash. What's your expiration date on that one.

I don't get it that you settled for using the D-Plan when you can usually do better talking the price down below that. i guess it helped that they incurred the acquisition expense - unless you got charged for it?

The dealer group I work for does not charge employees for any other fees related to the purchase. I made sure to look over the paperwork to see if their math was off but it wasn't. Also all employee purchases get audited by an outside company to make sure those fees aren't added back in.

Just for reference, I got my truck from a dealer just up the road from them, MSRP of $54,325, for $42,195 before doc fee and TTL. They can do better.

Have you looked at other Dealer inventories so don't have to count on one Dealers quote? Yes
Would consider a travel to get a better deal - maybe in another State? Yes
Here's the window sticker

Here's the breakdown OTD price
2017 F-150 SuperCrew XLT 4X4

College Rebate -500
2010 Mazda3 allowance -4000

Pending payoff verification

He sends me a text as we are doing this out of state saying 38k and then retracting saying 39,300? Not sure what to make of that. Could someone help me on this deal
You gave a breakdown and then you made it confusing in the last paragraph. I don't see either a $38K or $39,300 anywhere above that. Do you have an old and new written quote from them with the change?

BTW, that's a nice truck! I have basically the same one except mine has a few more goodies on it. The black makes it look awesome and it moves out of it's way with the 2.7L. This may be a great deal but I need to know the actual Sales Price.
