Was that before or after it rolled off a 150 foot cliff?

Could you post your Sales Agreement. Something doesn't sound right because that's around what Ford makes on a truck so unless you purchased it directly from the factory cost. I don't believe a Dealer could discount it that much.

Posts like this aren't really helpful because it doesn't show how much a Dealer discounted it from their end.
YOUR Zip Code (where the truck will be registered) 07047
Did you go to the Dealer and deal directly with a Salesperson yet? Many many emails before i set foot in the dealership
Are you planning to use the Ford Conditional Offer - $1,250 Ford Credit Customer Cash if available to you? N/A
Are you planning to trade-in? No
Do you qualify for any additional incentives like Military, First Responder, College Graduate or Grad Student, etc.,? No
Doc/Processing Fee - Dealer charge (You need to find this out and provide it one way or another) 359.99
Have you looked at other Dealer inventories so don't have to count on one Dealers quote? Yes
Would consider a travel to get a better deal - maybe in another State? I was looking up to 150 miles away

Documents:

Window Sticker (a must) 66,185
Truck listing link on Dealer's website (not important if you gave a Window Sticker and don't want others to know where it is)
Price Quote Sheet (very helpful for us to see facts)(print - whiteout Dealer/Your Info - take picture and post image)

so yesterday, when I was bored, I was looking at the edmunds website... now before I go any further, I thought I got a GREAT deal... this also in line with the 24% off MSRP...

About 26% off

MSRP 48,890
Dealer 42,218
Rebates 6,050

Total: $36,168

(not including any fees, trades, etc... just your base price here, I did pay a $589 processing fee FWIW)
But I'm looking at edmunds invoice tool, and its basically showing that my truck (its hard to build exactly the same because their options aren't an exact match), would have an MSRP of $49,030 and invoice would be $45,625, and I should be paying a fair price of $43,601. Where I'm heading with this is thats 11% off MSRP right there, before the rebates. Anyone who is struggling to get where they want to be, might want to build a truck as close a possible and print this. If edmunds says the fair value is 11%, you should be able to negotiate at the dealer based off that pretty easily. Not sure if anyone has already mentioned this or not but I found it very interesting.

This is the link to the site with my options selected but you can obviously build your own...

also, those talking about the King Ranch models... good luck. They almost NEVER discount them, even at end of year rollover when the platinums are 25% off, the King Ranch models are still like ~13% off. At least in my experience, I've NEVER seen one with more than like ~8500 in total savings ever. And I spent a lot of time looking. Ive seen platinums in the ~48k dollar range (left over 2015 models in January 2016) and I've seen limiteds around the same price. But never the KR.

I just built a truck I am pricing on the Edmunds link above and the MSRP is short by about four to five grand. Are you finding this too?

I did the math and after factoring out the $359 Doc Fee the Dealer discount comes to 19.8%. I'm still shaking my head as to how this was discounted so much. This Dealer had to have taken a sizable loss. I believe you were truly in the right place at the right time. The Dealer probably was experiencing some issues and needed to clear this truck from his inventory for a certain reason.

What was the mileage on it?
Why aren't there any rebates showing?I'm sure they must have had some kind of rebates for this - even $500 or something!

Hi all,

New to the forums but I wanted to post to see if someone could assist in determining a good OTD price. I've shopped around for other vehicles in a similar manner so I figured this forum would be a good place to ask for help.

http://www.alpackerswhitemarsh.com/n...9680ac9006.htm

YOUR Zip Code (where the truck will be registered) 17361
Did you go to the Dealer and deal directly with a Salesperson yet? just started emailing.
Are you planning to use the Ford Conditional Offer - $1,250 Ford Credit Customer Cash if available to you? not sure if its available to me, never owned a ford before.
Are you planning to trade-in? yes 2017 Subaru Forrester XT <15k miles.
Do you qualify for any additional incentives like Military, First Responder, College Graduate or Grad Student, etc.,? potentially college grad depending on how far back they accept.
Doc/Processing Fee - Dealer charge (You need to find this out and provide it one way or another) 299.99
Have you looked at other Dealer inventories so don't have to count on one Dealers quote? Yes, still shopping around
Would consider a travel to get a better deal - maybe in another State? probably within 50 miles. This truck is actually in MD but I live in PA.

additionally through my work I get ford x-partner pricing which seems to take off $2k off MSRP.
My credit score is also 800+

What would be a good target price with such a discount and including other applicable incentives that are available?

well if you look at mine, it was actually a few hundred more. But it was fairly close, you should be able to get pretty close. Its not the best tool, but I do think it could be helpful. I was building an XLT, not sure if maybe its worse on the other trims. Make sure you pick the pacakges at the top (302a, 502a, whatever) as that adds a decent amount of to the MSRP. Worse case scenario, you can just massage the options/pricing to get close to MSRP and use it. The whole point is to just get the dealer to acknowledge its 11% off, then you can push for 12% so you are better than average/fair price

cars.com used to have this same tool, but I think its gone.

Anyone who doesnt take advantage of the Ford credit cash is nuts. We financed our 2017 to get this $1,250 discount. Then when the first payment came in paid off the loan 100%. Total cost was $16 in interest.

Truck had 23 miles. Has a bit over 1000 now.

I was looking specifically for a used 15 or 16 KR. I was back and forth with them for a week. with them consistently asking for me to come in.

No rebates

I asked them to change the oil as well since the truck was a 16 leftover built in 2/16. I just didnt like that the oil was in the truck for 18 months. Truck came with 3/4 tank full (36 Gal). I ran it past empty to get all the old gas out of it.

I was told the truck was in the showroom for over a year by the salesman. The had to jump start the truck, battery was completely dead. Underneath the truck was hardly dirty. They had to order the books\manuals for the truck, they were lost or misplaced.

Might want to change out the battery soon. If a battery sits completely discharged for any length of time it severely shortens its life.
