YOUR Zip Code 44460
Did you go to the Dealer and deal directly with a Salesman YES - Have D Plan available
Are you planning to use the Ford Conditional Offer - $1,250 Ford Credit Customer Cash if available to you? Maybe
Are you planning to trade-in? Yes - 2014 Ford Explorer XLT
Do you qualify for any additional incentives like Military, First Responder, College Graduate or Grad Student, etc.,? No
Doc/Processing Fee - Dealer charge (You need to find this out and provide it one way or another) - $100
Have you looked at other Dealer inventories so don't have to count on one Dealers quote? Yes
Would consider a travel to get a better deal - maybe in another State? Possibly
Did you register with Ford to try and trigger receipt of a Ford private Cash offer or do you have one already? If you do, what's the expiration date? No
When do plan to purchase? 1 week

Dealer is at $47,725 + $100 doc fee, tax, etc.

Advice?

Something doesn't sound right because that's wayyyy past a D-Plan or any of the other plans and even better than any deal I've ever seen negotiated. I hope they aren't going to screw you on the trade-in or tell you they made a mistake when you got to clinch the deal. Are you sure you posted the right Window Sticker? Right now this is a 15.5% Dealer discount.

You really need to come back here to post a picture or scan of your paperwork if you close this deal at this number. I would teleport myself over to that Dealership immediately before they realize they made a mistake or change their mind.

Here's their website and the price to any Joe off the street. I was disappointed that the D plan didn't get me any more than another $570 off the advertised sale price. I am heading over there now to take it for a ride.

Fairway used to have better prices a few years ago. Their discounts aren't as good as they used to be (the "everyday day Joe price"). They routinely had a percentage off of every F150.

Progress. I think.

I was offered http://www.windowsticker.forddirect....EW1EG8HFB98027

For $41083 before doc and TTL. This dealer has a crazy high ($699) doc fee but I'm willing to take that for this deal. Should I?

Also, the reason I am hedging is because these numbers are exactly what I initially offered and they pushed back on. I wonder if they made a mistake. I asked them to send me a quote sheet and then I'm signing. Unless there are any caveats.

WOW - you're right!

I just checked the Ford website and put in a Memphis zip code and it does show $500. I figured something like this should be across the board.

C'mon Ford - what the heck? So, now you're picking and choosing? That's low for sure!!!

Hey, wait a second - I just reviewed this and that $47,725 doesn't appear to be a Selling Price. I bet the Dealer slipped in the Incentives for $1,500 and possibly $1,250 Ford Credit Customer Cash. You better have them make that clear. That's why you need to have a Dealer give you ONLY a Selling Price.

If that's the case, so it's only a 10.6% deal which is probably D-Plan. Let us know what's included in that $47,725.

The D-plan price ended up at $50,476 less $1750 in rebates, so $48,726.

Not great, but not terrible either.
