I'm jealous of these rebates in other parts of the country, seems like the f150 is selling very well in Washington state. The platinum gas $750 rebate ofnthe last 4 months and that's it. There is the 1st responders, military, and school grad discount burns don't qualify for those. Also I am not trading anything in for the $1750 rebate that we habe in the area.

I'm thinking of picking up a leftover 2016 Lariat and found one close to home with a MSRP of $59,776 with every option I could wish for. I know the current incentives for my area but am looking for an idea on what would be a good deal on this truck. I don't want to insult them but the build date was September 2016 so has been sitting on the lot for a while.

Ski, did the dealer just offer up the $6546 discount on the 2018? How was that number arrived at? Also, did they give you an estimate of delivery?

Thanks

I had to go round and round with 4 dealers. In the end the local dealer said they had a price match guarantee. Essentially I paid about $2k under invoice. So I know they dug into there 3% hold back.

No clue on the estimate of delivery. Will dig around more in the next week or so. I know they placed there first order for 2018's last Thursday.

Was trying for 11% but the best they would do was 9.48%, given that it was a custom order for me and not one off the lot I'm pretty happy with the deal. Big thanks to TTB on all your input over the past few pages, it certainly helped work through a lot of the finer details and helped me walk away from the table with a "good" but not "great" deal, haha!
I'm glad to hear that this helped you out! Can't let Ford make too much profit - LOL!

You did great on a new vehicle order at 9.48%. Most Buyers don't haggle down to any more than 7% (Dealer Invoice Cost). What did they whack you for as far as Doc Fees or any other odd charges. I consider fees that are above $150 need to be added back which reduces a discount a little. But those are some nice rebates that really helped offset anything you got charged. It's much easier to negotiate a high Doc Fee out when you're buying Dealer Stock.

Be careful because Dealers usually have alot of built up inventory cost on a 2016 sitting around that long. Most of them won't let them go that much cheaper than the current model year. With an instant 1 year depreciation hit it's also a factor to consider if you go to sell or trade-in within the next 4 years because it's going to have less equity.

If you're still going to try it then you'd want it for 13.5% minimum.I'm not sure where you live because Dealers in different parts of the country give better discounts like Texas. You can get a 2017 with 12.5-13% discounts so the 2016 would not be a good buy there for example. If you want you could throw out a Zip Code or just PM me so I have an idea.

Dealer discount at 13.5% = $7,909

$59,776 Total MSRP
$-7,909 Dealer discount
$51,867 Selling Price (before Incentives & TTL)

If they have a high Doc fee, anything above $150 should be negotiated downward the extra amount off the Selling Price. If you work them around the end of the month you may get them to agree to your terms or else they know they're going to be into that truck another months interest payment.

$64,430 MSRP on 2017 King Ranch. I got it for $54,200 (with tint and spray in thrown in) before trade, taxes, fees. 0% for 60 months.

I feel like I made out like a bandit.
