The real question remains how the dealer is taking off an additional 2000 (holdback) after the A/Z plan price. I'm guessing he forgot that this was initially negotiated with an X plan. I would get that price on contract before he realizes this. I have heard the dealer gets 2500 for selling an a/z plan vehicle, but I've never heard of them sharing this money!

A wild guess. I think it a "warranty surcharge" on dealers in certain regions because of state laws requiring higher warranty repair rates (that Ford must reimburse the dealer). FPA = Franchise Practice Act?

I say a wild guess, because I found this lawsuit: http://www2.ca3.uscourts.gov/opinarch/986135.txt

Thoughts on this?

Race red 2016 f150 4x4 crew cab 157" fx4 Max trailer tow moonroof tech package 36 gallon tank sport appearance package.

Total MSRP of Specifications: $59,305
Custom-Order Invoice: $55,057.24
Costco Discount: Invoice - $2,350
Rebates: 1,500 (1,000 Bonus Cash & 500 First-Responder)
Exclusive Costco Custom-Order: $51,208
Dealer charges 599 in processing fees
Tax would be 3072 and tags 350 ish.

On the road would be about 55250 minus $350 I have in "dealer VIP bucks".

I didn't bother with the invoice price as I realize there is more to the story. I paid 25.1% under msrp which I'm happy with. This includes incentives on a 15' model.

Wow, great deal! I managed 23.1, not quite as good but still happy with the deal.

They absolutely will. My buddy who paid freight on the used truck there didn't get the news on the freight until he was writing up the sale. He even threatened to walk and they wouldn't remove it.

I wouldn't trust them for a second. Get your quote from them and shop it locally. Look at Preston too, they have some decent advertised pricing online.

Has anyone had a good experience with the dealers in Georgia?

Same deal here. Been trying to order a 16 and finally got within 1k of my price but to no avail after partially agreeing they brought up the delivery and doc fees 1600ish.

So now I'm at 49,600 plus taxes. On the below truck. MSRP 62,300. What do you guys think?
2016 Lariat Sport 502A
SCREW
FX4
5.0 V8
3.73 RR Axle 7000lb GVWR pkg
Twin Panel Moonroof
Tailgate Step
20” Painted Aluminum Wheels
Trailer Brake Control
Extended range fuel tank
Power deployable running boards
Oxford white
Black leather interior (bucket seats)
