Anyone else doing a similar deal for comparison? I'm just trying to get a better idea what to expect and what to shoot for.
Yes, me. Mine was approx 1k higher MSRP. You need to be about 33,800 to 34k on the F150.

Nice. Good to know. That's the way to do it. Last few purchases I made involved using truecar and having those dealers work it out until I find one that is willing to do the most for me.

The best deals for me were in the St Louis Mo and Evansville In areas. If your close, let me know and I'll give you some great hookups. Especially in Evansville. Great guy there!

Nowhere near MO . I'm in the Philly area but thanks for the offer. If I can get the right deal, I may pull the trigger. Otherwise no real rush to get out of my 2013. Thanks for the response.

I'm in NC, although I drove about 75 miles and got my truck in SC. I could only get about $5000 off locally, but used the Interwebs to get several dealers in Charlotte and upstate SC to bid against each other. The best deal was actually at a small dealer: $13k off and no doc fees.

That was about a month ago. The closer you get to 2016s being on the lot, the better deals you'll get. You might want to look at smaller dealers. Look on their lots and find out the date of manufacture (I think you can see the date in the door frame where the tire pressure info is). The earlier the date, the longer it has been sitting on the lot and the more incentive they have to unload it. They're tying up capital having it sit there for months on end. The high volume dealers may offer good rates, but turn over their inventories rapidly. One dealership I went to sold 38 trucks on a Sunday afternoon between noon and 5pm.

MSRP on my Platinum was $61,995 with a TRUECar price of $55,019 (before rebates/incentives). I got another $1000 in Ford Cash combined with 0$% for 72 mos. Invoice was something like $57,xxx with the usual dealer holdback of $1,845 (or whatever). IIRC, Ford A/Z plan was $55,225.

Hi. Just joined the F150 club, after saying I'd never buy a truck!

I saved over $12.5k off bottom line MSRP, so about $8k below invoice.

I got a 2015 2.7 ecoboost SuperCrew Lariat 4x4 with Bucket seats, Moonroof, Nav, Sport, Off-road and 501a packages with tow and tailgate step for a hair over $40k.

Imy in Houston. I'm loving the truck so far, although I'm somewhat disappointed with the fuel economy so far. I'm getting averages of about 16mpg around town and 19mpg on highway (doing 70-75mph).

Looking forward to reading a ton on this forum!
