I have spent countless hours researching pricing online to include Truecar.com. I have entered hundreds of different zip codes to find the dealers with the cheapest prices. There are several dealerships in key regions of the U.S. for which you can get at least $2,000 below "Dealer Invoice". The Dealers are the ones entering the MY "base price" into Truecar. I've been watching certain zip codes for months and some dealerships change their prices on Truecar.com frequently. Others only change their prices when Ford changes them.
I also have a VOC from Holiday Ford which shows $2,600 below "Dealer invoice". This amount is before incentives. Let me make this clear to all the skeptics. This amount below invoice is the same price they list on Truecar.com. The Dealer Invoice price also matches exactly to the 2015MY Ford F-150 Price List.
I also have several VOC's that I have found online which show City governments paying $6,000 - $7,000 below "Dealer invoice". I have seen the bid requests from the city governments to the local dealerships and the letter to the city council of the best price.
How is all this possible? Because the high volume dealers get bonuses every quarter for the total # of vehicles sold no matter the model. The amounts are very secretive. Even the Dealerships that troll this forum won't deny that they get factory to dealer incentives. They obviously need to make a profit in order to stay in business, but don't be fooled by the "Dealer Invoice" price. They get holdbacks and incentives throughout the year!!

I have no clue what the invoice was, but the sticker was $48,245 and I gave $35,200 including all Ford and dealer rebates. I also got 0.9% financing, but that was from a third party. The final price did not include NC sales tax which is 3%.
Not sure what all rebates I got. I did get a lease conquest rebate, but did not get military discount.

So I stopped at a dealership on the way home and looked at an XLT 4x4 SCREW 3.5 EB 302A w/chrome pkg - sticker price $47,475. I told the salesman I was just looking for some quick numbers plus all eligible rebates. He told me $43,710 minus $4,750 in rebates for $38,960. I also have a 2013 STX 5.0 SCAB that I would be trading. It only has 14k on it and I have about 6k in equity...
Anyone else doing a similar deal for comparison? I'm just trying to get a better idea what to expect and what to shoot for.
