On Monday 7/31 I ordered a 2018 F-150 Platinum 5.0 157" 4x4 3:73 rear end with a bunch of other stuff.
My dealer said they haven't started scheduling F-150's but I don't know how accurate his statement is. I have private cash that expires 9/21 which I hope Ford extends if the truck is later than that. He gave me the order number but is that the same number as the "preview order number" that was on my build sheet he gave me?

I've requested all the 18 brochures and filled out for all the updates on the 18s and haven't gotten anything on the yet. How did you get the private cash coupon?? I've been trying to get one

Interestingly enough I did the same thing but one day I was on Ford's website looking at the 2018 page and a popup opened and there it was. So I accepted and received it instantly in my email. I was surprised.

I built my truck again online hoping to get the $750 incentive and found out my build price had changed to $500 less. After checking a little closer I found out why. They are now showing a $500 discount if you finance with Ford. I hadn't plan to finance unless there was a rebate so guess I will now for about 30 days LOL.
This is on the 2018 model year build. Thought some would be interested to know this. I was hoping for a $1000 or $1200 as in the past but maybe the next one will be higher. At least that is something but don't think I will get my truck by Oct 2.

I ordered my 18 Lariat the middle of May and the dealer said it was going to be built the 2nd week of September. It's a 502 package Screw with 5.0 and 3.73 gears. Magnetic baby!!!!!!!!!

I am 56... and enjoying the retired life.
Here's a close-up of the 2018 optional rim for the Lariat and the standard rim for the KR.
They are chromed, but I still prefer the ones I have now.
It's too bad that Ford is stuck in a rut mounting Goodyear Wranglers. Up here, there are tons of new take-offs posted in the Ads. They are garbage tires for Winter use.
