Default Is it just me or do the 2018s sit more level?

I just bought this truck, see picture. Do the 2018s sit more level the the 2015s. I had a 2015 and had a 2 inch level installed, this truck looks and feels closer to level.

Still looks a couple inches different to me. Try measuring it. I'd be interested to see if it is in fact more level than normal.

Nice Truck by the way!!!

I'd measure from the center of the wheel hub to the fender lip. From the looks of that pic, I'll bet there isn't 2 inches difference.

I am beginning to wonder if the Max Tow "Might" be one of the reasons my 2018 Lariat has the same rake as last year did. In fact, we had our prior 2016 sitting nest our the new 2018 and even the sales rep noticed the 2018 was about an inch taller at the top of the tailgate than the 2016 "Trailer package" was.

For example. If you look at our 2018 photos below, to top of my rear tire is level with the frame. About 3/4" below the bed floor. Our 2016 was in the bed floor.

I’ve noticed it on trucks on the lot as well. It doesn’t seem completely level, but the stance definitely looks different in 2018 versus 2017.

I agree, Max Tow trucks have a higher rake...could be the leaf spring system is different on these, and it makes sense for max towing.

The rear shocks for 2018 are different than the 2015-2017.

Just the rear shocks? The front ones aren't different?

I was at the dealer a couple of days ago when I bought my 2017 XLT and one thing that both I and the sales rep noticed was that the 2018's definitely sit lower in general.
