Pretty truck!

Most people that spend big money on these trucks aren't concerned with the difference between 14-15mpg and 17-18mpg. Roughly 500 per year more driving the superduty at 15k miles per year with the difference in diesel. He will get better than what you stated especially if he is towing, considering the F-150 is a dog on fuel when towing. The big fail for me is NO adaptive cruise control.
I love the Superduty look though!

OPs truck appears to be gas 6.2l not the diesel.
As a perpetual "should I have bought a 250?" F-150 owner who tows a camper a few times a year, I am VERY curious to hear your opinion between the two as an every day driver. MPG, ride quality, etc.
I personally would never upsize to a gas motor because the hit in fuel economy is tremendous (on paper) so I'm really curious to hear your thoughts.

It's a loaded Platinum. I haven't even begun to figure out how everything works. I had a Ford Shelby GT500 that my local Ford dealer really wanted because there was one of their customers that wanted it. I haven't a clue why they did come to me and make an offer. None the less they made me one of those so call Godfather deals so I just traded it and the 2016 F-150 that I just bought last October in on this fantastic F250 Platinum. It's got a power open tailgate, 5 or 6 cameras, collision avoidance system along with of course all the other typical toys and accessories. It's going to take me a month just to figure out how everything works. The massaging seats are pretty cool too. I bought a new 2017 Tracker Pro Team 195 TXW Tournament Edition bass boat. The 2016 F150 XL did a decent job pulling it up the boat ramp with the 3.5 engine but not like this baby here will. This is one fantastic truck in my opinion.

Coming out of the water up the ramp with the boat attached you'll probably look back to make sure it's still hooked up. Compared to the 150 your new truck will make it seem like it's not even there.
Going to miss the Shelby?
