Sounds like a fairly modest refresh and new hybrid powertrain.

Not surprising it's just a refresh. Ford spent a TON of money on this generation truck. New aluminum construction which required factory re-tooling, new frame, new cabin. They have also updated the entire power train lineup. Also they based the new Expedition and Navigator on the this platform. It also shows how well Ford knows the market segment what happens when you put out a no compromise product. Even though the Ram and GM twins are all new compared to the F-150, Ford still leads the competition in most performance categories. A refresh is all that's needed to stay ahead of the competition

They need an upgrade to Sync 3. My wife bought a 2018 Jeep Wrangler with the cheapest radio available and it's better in some ways than the top of the line Sync 3 system.
The audio sounds great compared to the system in my XLT. Sirius XM sounds a lot better too, it doesn't have the tinny hollow sound like it does in my truck, plus it shows album art on satellite stations. All on a tiny 5 inch screen.
There's also a button to turn on the rear camera while driving down the road, it only stays on for a short period, but still...

Hopefully Ford will get some design cues from Dodge on their interior. You gotta admit the Ram interior is superior in many ways. The 2019 f150 and ram interior experience is night and day different in terms of technology, fit, finish, and execution. Lets not even get started on the damn sunroof....
I also thing that infotainment systems age poorly. The 12" screen is really nice and is the centerpiece of the Ram's interior. But in 2025 how do you think it's going to look compared to new technology? It would be like putting a iPhone 5S next to the new iPhone XS Max.
