Default It's brakes... They're kind of important.

I was under the truck painting the rusty rear axle when I found it. (I've been back to the dealer enough just trying to get my bed liner installed, it was easier to grab a can of satin black paint from the garage and fix it myself.) I'll let the pic explain it:

Yes folks, they forgot to hook up my drivers side E-brake cable. Looks like I have 2 issues to take up with the dealer now. I just found the other one earlier in the week while cleaning the interior for the first time: ( I need to stop looking at this thing, I just keep finding issues.)

Guess the inspection cameras missed that one
Can't give you a great deal of confidence
Hopefully the rest of the truck is screwed together correctly

I'm surprised someone didn't notice the panels from the build plant to the dealer but wow. That's a good thing you noticed the e brake cable

Your thread title is a bit misleading. While your door panels and the parking brake are egregious examples of slipping through the cracks during QC, your brakes work just fine.

The brake issue is not funny , but those door panels, that just cracks me up. That's what you call "Friday funnies" at the plant. I wonder if you have a Friday build.

Agreed the brake is not funny but could you imagine at the built shop a couple of guys "Hey lets put some gray on the other side and see if anyone notices!"
