Is diablo and livernois still the only tuners that dont leave a foot print on the pcm? SCT has to step up.

Also does anyone recommend a good diablo custom tune? Yes i know SSI SCT is fastest, dont need a 12 second tune that takes life from my motor.

They all leave evidence and those you mentioned have also has engine failures.

I am aware of diablo engine failures, but the diablo is not detectable on the 2015 F150 3.5 ecoboost. A friend had engine issues running diablo. he asked dealer (friend ) if they could tell if it was tune related, they replied no mods detected.

Zx-12 is right. I can only theorize what happened in your friend's case.

Until they tear the engine down and find the spray pattern then you can have problems.

More likely a simple checksum or flash counter would be used.
