Thank you Lare. That's pretty much what I was looking for. Don't really want to spend $70 on it though. But still may do so.
In my experience, the trim tool is just used to assist in prying, not actually "depressing the clip" or anything like that. I have not tried to take off the register vents, but the top piece above the radio. It has little white plastic clips that can fall off very easy. They can be placed back on, but watch they don't fall down behind the dash!!!
