Default Interior Mod: Wood Grain Trim Vinyl

Has anyone tried to install any of the Carbon Fiber/Wood Grain inlays in their interior over the stock plastic? There aren't a ton of pictures online other than the stock photos from the website, and I can't tell if it will look good in reality. My '15 Lariat Sport has silver trim on the interior that looks kind of cheap, I have removed all of the chrome (plastidip badges, etc.) from the exterior because it didn't look good given the body is all gray from the Sports package. I am looking to do an all black/dark gray theme (interior is black as well). Any pictures/experience with these would be greatly appreciated.

Also, has anyone found the trim piece for models without the trailer backup slot? Seems like these all have them (https://amzn.to/3qKnmdl) and wouldn't look good if I had to fabricate something to fit or have an open spot with just silver

That's a lot of cash for some trim. Would it not be easier to do a few small bits like the Lariat models normally do? Like the door release panels?

Agreed. The stick on stuff looks gaudy.

I've seen some stuff that looks nice, but it's not usually cheap.

Just came across this vinyl wrap, looks like a better and cheaper alternative. Has anyone had any experience with this?

When I was looking for my new truck last year I was on the fence over a Lariat or XLT.

Part of the reason I picked the XLT was the lack of the wood trim. I find the XLT inserts better looking.

I used that exact vinyl to wrap the wood grain trim in my wife's Q5 last year, its held up well so far and the texture on the vinyl is surprisingly realistic. Highly recommend.
