Interesting is the tsb is only for XL / XLTs - no higher trims. I have a Lariat, been keeping an eye on it and so far okay.

The lariat and higher trim models have a completely different dash pad then the lower trim models.
My 18’ XLT came from Detroit with the passenger side of the dash slightly warped, I ordered my truck and took delivery in March 2018. It’s hardly noticible right now, I honestly thought it was normal until I saw the complaints on here. It doesn’t appear to have gotten any worse, but I may take it in anyway. My windshield is cracked so maybe I’ll have them replace that while they have it.
I remember what it used to look like when dash pads wild fold up and peel away on cars back in the day and there is no way I’m gonna deal with that in my dam near $50k truck, four years from now when the warranty is expired. Now just to gotta find time to get it there...

I'm taking mine in Monday. Mine is so warped up at the defrost vents I can see the underside of the center dash speaker. And the passenger side has a large hump and a wave in it. Figured what the heck. If Ford is going to pay for it. Let Ford fix it.

I hear ya. Hopefully everything comes out good and hopefully it is actually different so it does not separate again.

I hope so we will see. The TSB has a new part number for the dash so maybe they made some changes to fix it.

Took my truck to the dealer today about the warped dash. There wasn't a whole lot of questions asked. They looked at it and told me that they have to order the dash and will call me to bring the truck back and drop it off when they get it. So we will see how it turns out.

Same here, mine is 9 months old but it stays in the garage all the time when I'm not driving so it doesn't get alot of the hot sun beating down on it, so maybe that has a lot to do with it.

I guess I'll have this done at my next oil change.

Just went and looked at mine. YUP! warped on both ends. Honestly I would have never paid any attention to this If I had not read about it here.

Does it really matter or hurt anything? I don't think I want to have my dash torn apart in a brand new truck. My build date was 4/2018, so mine sit out in the hot summer sun all of 18 before I bought it in 19. :-\

Could it get worse over time?

Exclamation

Now that I look at it close, I notice the hump and wave in the dash on the passenger side.. So does the TSB fix cover the warping, humping, and waving?
