Tmcleger... Thanks for Sharing!

Munkeebutt:; I suppose they already produced some 19's with the old dash part, before they created the new part (there are 2 other, older, part numbers for this part.)

Not a cheap fix for Ford either.. that is a $1,200 part... then 6 to 7 hours labor, plus, there are a crapload of warped dashes out there.

I am one of the lucky ones.. I have a Lariat, and so far, my dash has held nicely.

Note: I did notice the TSB is for XL and XLT Trucks only.

Whats involved with the replacing? Will I need to remove the amp and dsp in the dash?

I just called and made an appointment for the 4th for my dash fix(hopefully). I will have the TSB in hand when I go in.. So sick of looking at it. I will take the chance and let them swap it out. If they don't resolve the engine rattle in the near future I will be getting rid of it anyway.

All of the 2019's XL/XLTs on the lot that I looked at a month or so ago didn't have any dash warp. Wasn't a whole lot of them still a bunch of 2018s on the lot and maybe less than 10 2019's at the time. About all of the 2018s had some degree of warpage.

Of course this is a TSB, not a recall. So basically Ford will cover it under warranty for 3 years or 36,000 miles then after that you're on your own. Mine isn't warping as of yet so I'm not sure how ugly this warping becomes. I'm curious as to how many would be willing to pony up $2000 to have it repaired outside of warranty.

my guess is its going to be like the wonderful DPS6 shudder. It suddenly becomes OK after the warranty runs out

We'll see what mine looks like after 2-1/2 years/30,000 miles.

Good to know. I'll have to keep an eye on mine.
