I probably over did the break in sequence and over heated mine causing them to glaze. The move to the 16 had the pads and rotors full of rust, so had to redo the break in procedure. Both times really soft pedal with lots of travel that eventually firmed up. In a panic though they stopped well so wasn't too concerned, and just let them bed themselves. Next set of pads though I plan to go with EBC. Had them on a Fusion Sport and man they were great from the first application of the pedal. They were dirty though, so have to keep that in mind.

I installed the powerstop Z23 roters and pads when I changed to 295/70/18 tires. 4000 miles later, almost no brake dust and better stopping power!

I've put about 4500 miles on mine and they're great. Dust is definitely lower than factory pads. The first couple hundred were here in Texas but then I put almost 1500 in the mountains of Colorado and they performed flawlessly. The rears still look like they haven't been used but the fronts have some wear marks. Nothing like gouging just that they have been used. And I agree, they do look good on the truck.

Awesome - Glad to hear you and others have been happy with them so far!

I put mine on at 5K a little over 2 years a go. Huge improvement in every way. My main concern was towing the trailer in the mountains. Some pretty long downhill grades get the brakes pretty hot.

Have never smelled them like I have OEM's in the past. Braked dust is probably 20% of the stockers. Rotated tires last week and with 20K miles on the pads they looked almost new.

I'd do it again in a heart beat.
