Default Installed new Morimoto XB Fogs

Truck not only 1 week old in my driveway and already adding stuff. Had these Morimoto XB fogs on my old 12' F150 and liked them a lot.

Install on these new trucks was even easier and faster than previous model. I saw the video on how-to on youtube, and that helped a lot. Instead of using screwdriver to pop these out of the housing, I used a trim panel tool.

From start to finish I think it took less than 30 mins.

I assume they outperform the stockers? Any info or pics?

In your first photo comparing the two, which is which? I assume the Mormotos are the smoked ones on the left? Not sure I like the smoked look. Certainly, if I had the sport package, they'd rock.

What are your headlights halogens or LED? I see the temperature differs b/w the two.

Is there a market for our stockers? Maybe XL or XLT guys?

I didn't think we could get "fogs only". Gotta try that.

My headlights are LED's and they match fogs almost perfectly. Hard to compare the stock vs XB fogs in performance. These aftermarket ones are more focused light instead of a spread out light output.

Yes, aftermarket are the dark ones on the left. It goes well with the truck, and I have a chrome package. These fogs produce 2400 lumens

I bought these from retrofitsource and picked em up locally (atlanta, ga)

I think even XLT models are pre-wired for fogs. You would prolly have to get more things, like a new headlight switch etc, but probably do-able

Here's a good daylight pic of em and the headlights. Fitment of these inside the bezel is perfect.

How difficult were they to install? Reading the Retrofit's page, they are supposed to be "plug & play" but that doesn't always mean everything works as well as one would like.

Edit - never mind, found the following video.
