Of the 15 2015 that Shakopee Ford has on their website, 9 of the trucks have the 5.0 in them. That is surprising, more than 50% 5.0's !!

Same story in the Northwest. Most are 5.0 or 2.7eco. There is only a couple of 3.5 eco's.

My dealer has 23 coming in. Here's the breakdown:

3.5 V6 - 2
2.7 Eco - 2
3.5 Eco - 11
5.0 V8 - 8 (including mine)

I know if I were to buy a new one, it would be a 5.0. They can have their 3.5 Eco back from me, I think it sucks. I'm sure a lot of others feel the same way. I'm glad to see some 5.0's around.

I have an '11 5.0 and have a '15 5.0 ordered. Thought about the ecoboost but wanted reliability.

I'm glad to see the 5.0 is delivering its torque lower in the rpm band around 3800. Plus with a few more hp and a lighter truck the 5.0 should be even more responsive. I have a feeling ford knows this and that is why we are seeing so many.
