I run my LT tires 40-45 and they aren't that rough IMO.
But as far as improving ride something like Boss or Fox coilovers will improve the handling of the truck. But are gonna still ride very firm. They aren't "softer" than the stock stuff. Idk about Icon or King though

Our 2015/ 2016 F150's are lighter, but have stiffer rear leafs and front coils over the previous generation. One option for improving ride quality over the rough stuff, might be going to a softer spring rate, but you would loose some of the "12,000 pound" towing capacity. Off road vehicles are often more softly sprung for better traction. Saw OEM springs for 100-130$ online.
