My sport mode is great stoplight to stoplight, but I've noticed it won't shift into 6th until 70 mph. Some of my driving is in the 50-60 mph range, and it just feels odd, running along in 5th, like it needs to shift, and too much deceleration if I let off the gas.
Is 70 mph the normal shift point for 6th in sport mode?

I don't know the spec on it but mine hasn't been in 6th and sport mode at the same time yet. I had it up to 75mph in 5th. At those speeds I will just put it back into regular mode anyway unless I see a need for sport in heavy rush-hour traffic.

Yeah anything above 60mph I shift back into normal. Holding 5th gear at that speed gets annoying.

I've tried my sport mode a couple times. Don't like it. Makes me feel like I'm winding the snot out of a rice grinder (Japanese motorcycle). When I see people stomping on the pedal of a pickup thinking they're driving a Ferrari it just looks pathetic.

between the fact that oil trades in USD, our taxes, the "gas mafia" system (a handful of companies control both the raw product and the stuff we put in our tanks), and a lot more things I know nothing about, we always pay more than you guys in the US.
and because the stuff we pump out of the ground (actually, we dont pump it, we dig it out, that's how bad it is), we sell it for about 1/3 of the "oil price" you see in the news. so, back to the mafia above, they have to make their money somewhere, right? Right now, some oilsands producers are apparently selling their "oil" for less than $10 / barrel!!!
long story short, it's not just the politicians, the whole system is messed up, and because Canadians are too nice, we never really complain, and suck it up
