Default I'm back with a new truck.

My long lost family,

I had an amazing stint with a Focus ST after I sold my 2005 SC FX4, but it was time to let it go and grab one of these amazing 2015s with the crazy pricing there at the end of the year.

I ended up searching and searching and found exactly what I wanted. Black XLT Sport FX4 5.0L w/ 3.73s, 302a, 36gal tank, subwoofer. I post up some pics when I get her all washed up and clean, but here is a teaser next to my '78 Bronco.

Next I need to find a shop manual. Before I search if anyone can chime and hand over a torque spec for the oil plug, that would be fantastic - assuming around 15-20 ftlbs...

Anyway, the ST forum was incredible, but I am glad to be back in the rowdy crowd over here... Good thing is I don't have to change my handle lol... Happy New Year!

Okay I had some time this long weekend to do a complete wash, clay, and paint sealant. Love the Tuxedo Black and so glad I grabbed one before they phase out this paint option...

What products did you use? I recently bought a Tuxedo Black FX4 Lariat. I was looking at Chemical Guys, I have their clay bars. They have several choices for sealant and wax.

Chemical Guys is great. I have used them on previous vehicles. Since I had my Focus ST, I switched over to Adam's Polishes. I really love how balanced the pH of the Adam's suite of products is and also their ease of use...

Their new Paint Sealant and H20 Guard and Gloss products are fantastic. I really like sealing versus waxing with these products, but I am a huge fan of their Americana Wax, as well.. It's a pricey number, but you get what you pay for...

I'm probably an Adam's Polishes customer for life... The products are amazing, environmentally friendly, all made in the USA, and their customer service is second to none... I've been dealing with them for over 4 years now and have zero complaints...

I used their orange and white polishes with a porter cable polisher in needed areas... Still blows my mind how poorly dealerships wash brand new vehicles... This particular truck had swirl marks head to toe that even the clay didn't take out - but the Adam's orange/white polishes took out with ease... Now no more swirlies on my brand new TB paint and water will bead up for about 6 months with this sealant product, but will probably clay, polish, and seal on a 5 month schedule, like I've always done...

Interesting you mention that. It is between that exact cover and the Peragon. Ive been PM-ing Heath about some questions. I'm leaning towards Peragon but am still undecided...
