Default I'll be driving the 2015 on Wednesday

I work for a Ford dealership and I'll be going to a learn & drive training event for the new 2015 F-150, Mustang and Expedition on Wednesday. If anyone has anything they'd like me to look for, or any questions about the truck afterwards, I'll be happy to address them in this thread!

Okay okay okay. Here's the deal. There's an embargo that I didn't know about until I got there, so I can't go into detail on the truck's driving dynamics or how it stacked up against the competition at the event on social media. Sorry guys, that's just the way it goes. I don't want to be a poor representative of Ford and their policies so I'm going to put a cap on it, and hold in my excitement as best as I can. At this point, all can say is this truck takes trucks to a standard where it's no longer just "really nice...for a truck" but this thing is genuinely a really nice vehicle. I seriously think it's going to pull customers from their high end German sedans without them feeling like they're downgrading in luxury, technology and refinement. That's all I can say for now.

Stay tuned until October 6th when the embargo will be lifted and I will be able to go all out with my impressions!

What I can do is talk about the Mustang which has no embargo. The car is incredible. Precise handler, unbelievable style and quality and absolutely blew the Camaro and Challenger that were there at the event right out of the water. Absolutely incredible car that's going to do really well. This car is going to steal customers from the german touring coupe crowd, guaranteed.

PLEASE take a lot of pictures... If you see a plat can you take pictures of the seat cushions, the back of the seat where the rear passengers will see.

Can you measure with the seat all the way down how much space your head clears the moonroof?

Can you see see if there is soft touch materials on the undersides of the floor shifter and inner doors?

Thanks!

I'm curious about the panoramic sun roof. How does the back shade close? Is it power or does the driver have to reach to close the back shade.

How does braking feel with lighter weight.

If there is king ranch, how does leather "feel" I read it was different that traditional saddle leather from past.

Thanks

David, I went to another dealer and looked at a 2015 250 King Ranch with the same Mesa Brown leather and it looked and felt like rich durable leather.
The color looked like a dark brown with a copperish appearance. After looking at the 250 King Ranch interior it was the deciding factor for me to move forward with ordering the 2015 King Ranch.

Check which engine the 2015 F 150 has that you will be driving and please give us some feedback on the nimbleness and performance of the vehicle and the feel of the vehicle with the 700lb reduced weight.

Expy is getting the 3.5. Perfect engine for soccer moms everywhere! Please let us know how well it gets groceries. Also let us if yoga pants or a skirt is the the best choice for driving it.

If there is a Reg.Cab truck there: does it seem smaller than the 2014 reg. cab? Also if you can get any reg. cab pictures, especially of the interior?
Thank You.

Look at engine sticker and report ratings and sticker date.
