If you are referring to the post above you, adding LED headlights, 4A and push button cannot be that much extra cost in themselves. The only difference between 4A and 4H is the transfer case, the ****, and some software. The transfer case cost is just a couple hundred more above the regular transfer case. LED headlights also cannot be that much more of a bump from the regular ones especially with the cost of LEDs just going down so much. Now if he wanted dual climate control, leather, etc then I could agree more.

I view 4A as a safety feature. I will say that I drove a 2wd truck in PA winters.
I personally just want it to be an option IF to add the 4x4 drivetrain. Upgrading from 2wd is several thousand. Upgrading to 4A once you have 4x4 is a few hundred.

I understand the people saying why not just buy a lariat, but I think there are a few things that are just cheesy. Not having a homelink garage system is just ridiculous. I know it can be added, but come on, my 04 M3 has that. Push button start is pretty standard in all cars. Power folding mirrors and not having memory seat for the driver.

Do all of the above for the 302a, add in 4A and you got a winner.

You can still have all the electronic gizmos power running boards, cooler headlights, power tailgate on a lariat. Personally, like that stuff but don't need it for my truck.

To be fair though, I believe the LT can be optioned almost like a Lariat. As can a Ram Bighorn. But they are priced more like an XLT. On the sticker.

Again, that frustrated me, but in the real world on dealer lots I couldn't find one of those well optioned LTs or Bighorns for anywhere near what I paid for my XLT. And neither of them had anything comparable to the 2.7's combination of power and economy.

The one thing that irks me is somehow between my last truck in 2010 xlt xtr and this new 2018 xlt xtr is the auto darkening and heated mirrors are missing on this 2018.
I really liked that option.
Who in their right mind would send a truck to Canada without heated mirrors?
I could do without the trailer back up assist.
That's not as near a high priority as decent mirrors that aren't all covered in frost.

I must have fell asleep... Did Ford remove the option of AutoTint and Heat options from the 18's?.. My 16 Lariat has them.

What I'd like to see them change is Nav/XM in Sync. No reason these shouldn't come standard in this day and age. Also, on the 4A front. It should be at the least an option at every trim level. 4WD is, no reason not to have 4A as well.

they did away with the auto dim on the 2018 302A XLT. Heated mirrors stayed but the dim went away. Lariat only for the dim now

Sort of, you can't get power folding mirrors, memory seats, cooled seats, 360 camera on the LT/Big Horn. As far as the sticker price, there are big fluctuations, just as there are with Ford. I can throw everything on an XLT and it will sticker higher than a lesser optioned Lariat. Most LT/Big Horn trucks sticker in the high $40s - low $50s, which is XLT 302A territory. The LT and Big Horn are also the most discounted and largest selling trims at their respective brands.

You can't leave me hanging with a simple "ford makes truck... who knew" lol I would really like to hear how you think the f150's not doing good even though they're the best selling truck. I also did notice your 2 year remark but again you're crazy if you think toyotas going to come out with anything majorly different like Ford did with the 2015 and Ram with the 2019, i don't even wanna mention chev because that things not nice in anyway lol
I was actually pretty interested to see what the 2020 tundra would be like but its still hush hush, i did find a short video of the 2020 sequoia and it looks like they didn't do anything major other than the TRD version. They finally got rid of the key and went smart key with push button but as petty as this sounds after seeing the key its totally fits the Toyota standards. Cheap and basic lol

Reading is hard sometimes
What about GM? you said Ford is behind dodge and gm when it comes to interior styling. Surely you dont think the pre 2020 gm interior is nicer than ford do you? Even the 2020 gm interior is not getting great online reviews lol
