Default Ice storm and backup alarm went wacky

So we had a pretty good ice storm go thru this morning. When I jumped in the truck to leave this afternoon and put it in reverse, it is stuck on the red alarm on the drivers rear with the incessant beeping . Temps have been in the mid 20s all day, and there is no ice over the sensor which was my first thought.

Ideas?

Do you have Blis? Mine did the same this morning and I'm the past it's been ice on the sensors. Today it was road salt so I wiped both off and it was back to normal.

no blis, just standard backup system on 302A XLT. There is no ice or salt on it, I just went out and verified that.

Similar-ish situation

Was 27 degrees this morning and my alarm started going off for no reason.

I think the cold messes with some electronics

I hope that's not the case. It's just barely started to get cold here in NE ohio.

I'm also in NE Ohio, same issue here.

3 NE Ohioans so far! I pray we are all not in the same parking lot backing up this winter!

Had the same issue today in NW Ohio. If I remember right had it happen once or twice last year, but it fixed itself and didn't last to long.

I'm down in Dayton and mine is the outer passenger side doing it. Started Tuesday after we got a few inches of snow and it got cold. No ice or anything on it. It quit yesterday while it was warmer and raining. Temps dropped overnight and if started acting up again this morning. It's going in Wednesday for a few warranty things to include frozen doors not opening so I'll mention it then. I'm sure it'll be off by then and I'll get the dreaded cannot duplicate.
