I think we all like to own and drive nice trucks! I feel for the OP for the pickle he is in. Hopefully he can get out of it and start over fresh.

I like driving high trim level trucks myself, but I will always commute to work in a lower cost of ownership car. Enjoy the nice truck on the weekends and keep the miles off of it.

A lot of you guys are missing the point, I have done literally 5 pay offs in leases over past decade I went through the lease with a fine toothed comb I knew exactly what i was doing when I signed and I got a great deal in my situation. When I had my 2013 f150 I was able to go on ford credit and get an instant pay off now it says please call finance department and gives me a number when I call I get pushed to the dealership I bought from. My lease is through ford credit and my payment is high because I had to roll a lot over from a previous truck due to business reasons.

The bottom line is every time a dealer calls for payout and I'm right their listening so there's no changing of the numbers on their end the ford dealership is quoting a random number. If 3+ dealerships call for a pay out in a two day period on one car they should all get quoted the same exact number! This is not the case the quoted spread is from 51k to 54k and one two months ago was 56k. Leases are on a set payment schedule numbers can't jump like this in a few day period. If there were penalties and fees that's fine but the number shouldn't change at all in 2 days!

I have no problem with the payoff price my problem is the price keeps changing over the past two days.

So what number do they give you when you call? Have you tried logging in via credit.ford.com? Or whatever the link is? How about what does your statement say?

I had a lot of neg equity plus I never keep my cars long enough it's a business expense, based on the amount I had to roll into my lease I got a very good deal. If I went in with nothing and got a 700 a month lease yeah that's a total garbage deal. Like I mentioned in my other post the lease price and costs don't hurt me I can afford it , it's that the dealership is holding my lease through ford credit and keep changing the pay off price that's where I am mad because someone is changing it at their discretion a payoff schedule is just like a mortgage it's set based on how many payments are in so far.

Statement says check on fordcredit.com for purchase options, when I called ford credit they said you need to call the dealership where you got the car we can not give you this information and like I said there has been three different quotes on Friday and Saturday alone 51816, 53816 and 54816. All these numbers I heard from the finance guy at the dealership while on speaker phone at each dealership the 53816 was from the finance guy in person. I know the guy and have for years that's why it's really angering me because it's like I'm getting stabbed while he has a smile on his face.

Ya that sucks man! I am going through a tough time with my dealer on my F150 as well. Other issues but still they sure don't seem to stand behind you like they used to. Ford sells so many trucks why do they need to worry about one deal?

Oh be careful because you are liable for the taxes. In my case it is the taxes on the buyout price at end of the lease.
