I need more light from my (2017 XLT) low beams, what are my options?

I have HID (factory) headlights with PIAAs as supplementary lighting and I'm quite happy with them.
LED bulbs have no place in a halogen housing, the light is washed out everywhere and the lighting in general is very intrusive to other drivers whether you are following or oncoming.

I'm not "*******" on anything.
I believe that right is right and wrong is wrong.
LED lights have no place in a halogen housing despite the many many people who will state that they "don't get flashed" and "they don't blind anyone". Halogen light housing were not designed for LED bulbs.
I'm recommending a light bulb upgrade for those with halogen lights that is DOT approved for on street usage.

If you haven't already, make sure the aim is correct. A number of people on here have reported that the factory headlight aim sucked and got much better light distribution after correcting it.
Personally, I find that the lows are perfectly adequate (and far better than many other vehicles I've driven), even on dark, rural roads heavily infested with deer, and I just upgraded the high beams to LEDs, allow for more light further away from the truck while preserving the factory beam characteristics that help keep from blinding oncoming drivers. There are so many poorly aimed and/or questionable aftermarket lights on the roads these days that "I don't get flashed" is a horrible metric, because people are used to being blinded.

The hipocrisy is shocking, right?! Also, I'm regularly blinded by factory LED and Xenon headlights on other vehicles. Had great luck with HID bulbs in my last car. Not once flashed by oncoming traffic in 3 years. The lighting improvement for me was staggering. I'll do what I want.

Forgive me if I don't see the hypocrisy...I'm recommending a DOT approved for on street usage bulb over a non DOT approved LED light...do what you want...

Im not recommending any bulb brand in particular - just select something that is DOT approved for "on street" usage.

Have you read my thread? https://www.f150forum.com/f118/led-h...-bulbs-370732/
I even explained how and why certain LED bulbs are bad and how to find the good ones. I've been running the ones in my post for almost a year now with no issues, and they're MUCH brighter than the halogens. They also maintain the sharp cutoff with no glare or scattering.
Donā€™t knock it till you try it. I got the same led bulbs from this thread https://www.f150forum.com/f118/led-h...70732/index29/. And they are fantastic. Halogen like cutoff, no glare. Never been flashed since I installed them (3 weeks) with city driving.
