No issues with visibility all around. I'm 6'2". My wife has driven the truck a few times and liked how well she could see all around (with the seat all the way up). She is 5'2". I think you'll enjoy it.

Even with the tow mirrors, I haven't noticed any forward blind spots. Even at 5'9", I think I must be able to see over/around them.

If you have had numerous other Ford Pickups (and so have I), I find the latest models to be no different than previous models in that regard. I would suggest not going with the trailer towing mirrors if this is an issue for you as they are more prone to that due to their size. I also have the cross traffic and BLISS warning in my mirrors and that makes a big difference also, I suggest you consider that in your next purchase.

The new 2018 on some models has the new Pedestrian Detection system:

Never seen the video or know much about it other than it is an option

i'm on my 3rd F150 and have not owned one with the tow mirrors. i did test drive one with the big tow mirrors and did find that they created a huge forward blind spot for me. i'm about 5'10.

the regular mirrors are fine though.

OK, so I ran to the grocery store earlier and made a point of trying to see if my mirrors created blind spots. Technically, I suppose they do, but given the angles it would be nearly impossible for someone to hide behind them; as others have noted, the dip at the front of the window and the correspondingly lower mirror height makes a huge difference.

And I have the barn-door-sized tow mirrors.

I believe this helps tremendously with the issue he is describing (not seeing people coming from the 10-11 o'clock position).
I totally agree, I'm 5' 10" and have the non tow mirrors and have no problem with blind spots. Having the adjustable seat height should eliminate any line of sight issues.
