Price discrepancy alert for Sygic!
If you just want it on your phone GPS navigation is $22.99 or
connectivity to your vehicle."Smartphone-to-dash connectivity Enjoy functionality of our advanced smartphone navigationon your car's built-in dashboard screen" $68.99
In a third screen it says Sygic Car Navigation with your smartphone $37.49
So the pricing can vary. I am not really sure what you get for your $ Yes I am helpless... but I am not ready to admit I am an idiot!
It says lifetime map updates/traffic information which is a plus.

I still don't see the positive of sygic over google maps and downloading your region. I've downloaded my area with a roughly 45 minute radius and it's 17mb.

I don't know about Sygic, but my old Garmin is easier for me to see what I am looking for at a quick glance (lane I should be in, speed limit etc) The interface shown for Sygic appears to be more Garmin like. Google maps seems to win in being up-to-date with road changes etc.

I have had occasions where both Garmin and Google told me to exit and turn left when a right turn was the only legal way to go.

This is fine if you never leave a few hundred mile circle around where you live and work. Some people never go anywhere interesting or where there is no cell signal. If that's you I'm truly sorry.

LIke I tried to point out, the Sygic pricing is confusing. Is this one of those times that my truck isn't a truck? Can I just get the GPS Nav version and use Android Auto? Hoping a Sygic user will chime in here...

I wouldn't bother with Sygic at all, if they can't even create a reasonable, fair and clear pricing structure... not a company I would want to support or deal with in any way. Especially since there are other great (and free) alternatives.

I enjoy nav, it was a feature I wanted and the lot was full of choices with them in already...

A "few hundred mile circle"? I downloaded maps into Google maps and drove all over Italy, Slovenia, Austria and The Czech Republic.

I later downloaded maps and drove from west Tennessee to Washington D.C.

I later downloaded maps and drove from west Tennessee to Yellowstone National Park.

The size and number of maps you can download by Google is only limited by the amount of memory in your phone.

You are not limited to "a few hundred mile circle" with Google Maps.

(Admittedly, the European trip, I downloaded each country separately, but they were all there simultaneously, and it switched from one to the next seamlessly.)

I have no experience with Sygic, but the Sygic website specifically states that you need the phone-to-dash option to use on the SYNC3 screen. That is the $68.99 option.

Check out Sygic Car Connected Navigation.
