Default I Hate my Morimoto fog lights!

Okay... maybe "hate" is too strong, but I really don't like them.

From a functionality standpoint they're great, very bright, they match perfectly to the OEM's LED headlight color, and they're incredibly wide.

However, I honestly don't need "functionality" from my fog lights, all I wanted was for my fog lights to match my LEDs in color, that's it!

And while the Morimotos do match -- I don't like how they look during the daytime when the fog lights are off. The fog light housing blends in way too much into the bumper's trim covers. It almost looks as if my truck doesn't even have fog lights equipped.

So even though the Morimoto fog lights are amazing, I just don't like how my truck looks like someone yanked my fog lights off, I much prefer the stock OEM housings with the mirror-like reflective background. And before someone mentions how the stock housings make the LED light scatter, I know but I'll just aim them down, plus I heard that the Diode Dynamics don't scatter very much...I'm thinking about just selling my Morimotos and getting bulb replacements and using the stock housing instead. I hear the Diode Dynamics are pretty good and also a perfect color match, anyone have any experience with the f150LEDS option? Price is no problem, I just want a good bulb replacement that matches.

So what do you guys/gals think? Anyone else prefer the stock fog light housing?

I do think the fog lights are brighter on this one than my old 2014. I run them all the time when my headlights are on

Oh my lord baby jesus.... I WANT! Teach me master.

How did you do this, what did you use?

This looks amazing and it's exactly what I wish I had, but I think it will probably just be less work to simply buy new bulbs for the stock housing rather than painting the Morimotos.

I had them taken apart and painted silver. If you message a company called Plain n Simple they can do it (they did mine) or you can have a local shop do it too I'm sure. It's much more expensive than replacement bulbs, but I personally didn't care for the replacement bulbs at all.

Wow, didn't think anyone could not love these. I love the look of these, lights on and lights off.
