I have a Tonno Pro soft tri-fold cover on my 5.5' bed. It was on my 2015 F150 for 3 years, and I transferred it to my current 2018 F150. It has held up very well, and looks like the day that I first installed it on my 2015. It is very lightweight and easy to install and remove, I can do it by myself with no problem. But I rarely ever haul anything large enough to have to remove it. Most larger items simply require folding it and securing it with the attached straps.

I do clean and treat it with the preservative and cleaner that it came with it. I am in the South, so not sure how well it would hold up in cold climates. It does not leak in a normal rain, but I have had a tiny bit of water get in when going through a high pressure car wash, or it sitting outside during a downpour with heavy winds.

The only problem that I have ever had was that the Q shaped rubber weatherstripping that seals the cover to the bed sides had become loose from the aluminum frame in a couple of areas after 3 years of use. I called the company, and they told me to clean the area and apply some super glue to re attach it. I did that, and it has been fine since.

I prefer the better security (or at least perceived) of the hard folding covers. That said I've had an Undercover Flex on my truck for three years that is a pretty poor product that I would not order again. It leaks A LOT and is pretty much falling apart at this point (hardware and rubber failure). So I'm looking at the Undercover classic or similar, but the convenience of folding up is really big for me.

I had a Solid Fold for 3 years and loved it. Went with a Lomax Trifold this time. Love the low profile look of it.
