Nah, I actually called and talked to both manufacturers and neither have products will work with all the stuff on my truck, camera and sensors.

It seems I can have sensors or camera but not both.

My bad, I guess.
I usually back in but I need to get the Homelink module replaced. I have to have the front of the truck almost touching the garage door before it will open. It was built in the timeframe for the service bulletin. I pull in as far as I can to allow me to roll the trash containers behind the truck and out the side man-door rather than opening one of the garage doors.

There have been threads on relocating the camera on a custom grill. Could you relocate it to a custom location on the grill guard, re-calibrate with ForSCAN, and get it to work, along with relocated sensors?

That is a good idea, but a lot of work and getting the calibration right might be very non-trivial. The other half actually said no to my attempt at getting one with a relocation kit for the sensors.

So she gets to put up with whatever the deer leave...

So I got the truck back last night. The paint looks great, and it looks like they did a pretty good job of putting everything back together. I will reserve final judgment on that until I have a chance to pop the hood, roll around underneath it, and look it all over much more closely. Total damage at this point is $8030.17. I hope no other delayed issues show up.

The 2006 F150 SCrew 4x4 I had was used to kill a deer three days before modern gun season. Right front bumper, 4x4 hub and bearing broke, radiator shredded and the fan destroyed. In July 2016 I bought a 2016 SCrew and while I had the color match linex done (RR) I also had a Backflip MX4 and Ranch Hand push bar installed.

It has already paid for itself. 2 weeks after I put it on, I took out a deer doing....nevermind how fast....and was sure I had torn up the new truck...nope!

They do make one that allows for the sensors and cameras, but I think you lose your tow hooks in the process.

Default One Up the Deer

So was just going thru this thread, reminding my RUN in with quick not so bright woodland animal. So that being said, before the RUN in i was looking for Bush guard to no avail. Found Ranch Hand was one of the only that talked about sensor adaptor. So short story, had body shop install the summit bush guard/bumper model when she was repaired from the RUN in. I have not had to do a recal from the install, but had to add a washer to point the radar unit more center. Been working great for over 5K miles. Couldn't upload pic on thread but are on my member page. Plus had rear bumper to match front also.

Hope this helps

ebay-21motorsports was the best price I found. It was drop shipped to body shop in like two days. that was free shipping from i think there in NJ to SC

Just for clarification, I have both Camera and Adaptive Cruise. Neither are effected

Who is this? Ranch Hand? And is it the Bull Bar or what? I would rather protect my truck than have tow hooks that *I* don't plan on using!

Where were you able to find a Ranch Hand that worked with the sensors? Or was that a Summit? I have actually called the factory, but between you guys I am beginning to suspect that I talked to the janitor.

ACC and Collision warning sensors are what I am trying to keep using.

I really do want more info, I live in an area overpopulated with targets fed by stupid city folks enamored by Bambi and kids and feeding them makes more targets.

Please tell me about aiming the radar sensor.

So do you think the deer got up and ran away or it was killed and someone else picked it up and hauled it home?

Gosh! Here I thought it was special when it happened to me. My '09 Expedition got $3800 worth of damage from a deer when I was STOPPED and the darn thing got up and ran off.
