Husky Floor Liners Question.
#21
I had the WT's in my Taco. The front passenger side didnt fit very well even after using a hair dryer and leaving it in the sun. The passenger front fit got better but still had some good size gaps, and then passenger front liner slid around everytime a passenger got in and out. I sat on the passenger side a few times and did not like how badly it would slide around. I worried about passengers getting in or out. I had to fix/readjust the passenger liner everytime someone rode up front with me. Maybe I just had some bad liners from a bad batch. I just know I regretted not buying the Husky liners instead. The passenger front liner was the only one that would slide around that easily and was also the one I had to use the hair dryer and sun to try and make fit better. The front driver side didnt move, the rear liners did move a little but signicantly less than the front passenger side.
I made sure not to repeat that same mistake with my F-150, so I purchased the Husky Xact from RDP. The liners shipped today, so I should have them by next week.

The Husky Xacts definitely look better. My issue with both products is that they partially cover the door sill. This looks terrible, especially when the sill is NOT black.

Side by side the Husky weatherbeaters and Weathertechs are the same material, slightly different shape, but pretty similar to each other. I have both, one for the 14 Screw and one for the 16 Screw.

the Xacts however are softer, more of a rubbery feel

I didnt have anything on mine. I even called WT a couple times and tried to troubleshoot what was going on. They finally convinced me they werent interested in making it right. I was not going to argue over it anymore. I had other things going on (shoulder replacement and some other health issues). I reached my "done" point. Im glad others had good experiences with them. My cousin had the WT's and is the reason I bought some for my truck. He likes his, others like theirs, and that is all good with me. WT's would be my last resort. Ymmv.
