I imagine you're referring to the OEM King Ranch taillights without BLIS?

Weird that Ford built an entirely different taillight for the King Ranch 600a package without BLIS because that's the only trim and package this style of light comes on. I mean, the King Ranch isn't a ridiculously hot selling trim in and of itself, and how many will be equipped without the blind spot system? Seems weird to design and develop an entirely different taillight, but maybe at some point Ford will start offering this design on other trims.

Negative on plug and play.

You'll have to do exactly what I did in post 1.

The red panel (where the BLIS sticker goes) is not translucent so its dark red day or night.

I'm a simple man, I keep reading about the BLIS sticker...but I haven't seen a picture of a tail light with a BLIS sticker on it in this thread. It seems like the tail light lens is a clear enough (though tinted red) to see through. When I look it through it, I'd see a black square where the plexi is installed and it's just the paint of your truck on the bed behind it?

I'm just intrigued and would love to do this upgrade.

You 100% cannot see through that red. It is thick, tinted (not painted) plastic. It is red all the way through it. Think about it, if you could see through it, you'd be able to see the BLIS module on trucks that actually have it.

If it would make you feel better, paint the piece of plexi black and then it'd match the rest of the taillight.

I am in the process of finding a set of the KR led tails (I have one brand new one right now) so I'll have mine (basically brand new) up for sale soon including the wiring if anyone is interested. However, I'm not gonna give them away. I have about $655 in them as they set.

I'll have to go to the dealer and check out a Lariat. After you convert to KR ones, you'll have to talk about how your scored that deal! I'll keep an eye out for yours to come up for sale as well.

What are the KR part numbers?

FL3Z-13405-B and FL3Z-13404-B.

They take totally different pigtails as well and the wiring isn't the same.
