Where did you install them at?

Tapped in to the power feed and ground at each taillamp plug on the harness.

I assumed it wouldn’t matter. I used black/yellow

Driver Side

Passenger Side
So I am completely new at wiring and making harnesses. Judging by what I have read, wiring both harnesses to match the "Passenger Side" diagram shown here should work for both sides correct? I am excited to try this, but just wanted to make sure I have a good understanding before I screw something up. Thanks again to everyone for the help and especially the OP!

It's gray the wire colors tend to vary on the 3157 connectors so it could be correct but you could have issues

Yep wiring both harnesses like the passenger-side diagram will be completely fine.

The only difference is an extra ground wire, but that won't do anything on the driver-side. In fact, I don't even know if that ground wire going to the #9 pin is even needed on the passenger-side. I had my harnesses accidentally on the wrong side for a few months and both worked fine.

About ready to get this done, taillights are on their way.
I have the harness with the morimoto resistor on it that I bought before we knew we could Forscan this.
Is it as simple as removing the morimoto resistor and plugging in the lights?
