How long should I expect my truck to last (2019)??
Hi y'all. Recently jumped on the Ford banwagon and bought a 2019 Ford F-150 King Ranch with the 5.0 L Coyote V8 and the 10 speed transmission. So the question is, how long should I expect it to last? I've owned plenty cars/trucks before which have lasted 300k+ kms and was wondering if this truck can do the same. I'm planning on running this truck to the ground and would like some insight on when "mileage wise" big problems start to appear ie: transmission issues, engine issues, suspension, axles, electronics, etc. Has the Coyote V8 and the 10 speed auto proved to be a good combonation in terms of longevity and reliability? New to Ford trucks but am optimistic and love the hell out of this new truck at the moment (great sounding V8 and awesome functional interior)!
Any input would be greatly appreciated,
Victor

I was looking at the most reliable engine too, and was disappointed both keep having problems. Even though I'm a V8 guy at heart, ended up with the 3.5EB. Although I haven't had any problems yet, and the V8 was having more issues once I cleared the latest recalls on the EB with my June 04, 2018 build, I had second thoughts with the insanely low fuel mileage I'm getting. If I could do it all over again, I'd probably opt for the V8 too, and save $600 in the process, even if unable to order MaxTow, which was very desirable to me due to the added cooling, but also for the larger differential (8.8 vs 9.0), and beefier rear bumper/hitch and front stabilizer bar. But I'd settle for not having any mechanical issues. So far so good, but only 4,500 miles on the clock. Enjoy your new truck .
