Mustang I washed by hand. Truck? Not worth it. Coin-op car wash is good enough.

Does it clean as good as wiping the car wash on with a mitt?

foam cannon is meant for pre-soaking before washing the car with a mitt. i usually rinse, foam, rinse, foam and then use my soapy mitt to agitate the foam.

I still use a mitt to get the bugs and stuck on spots off. Pre wash > foam > mitt > spotless rinse > squeegee the windows and let the rest air dry. I got it down to 30-45min and wash every week.

I use Zaino products. Strip off all old wax with Dawn. Then wash with Zaino car wash and follow with their show car polish. Lasts for at least 6 months and can just reward using the Zaino wash in between polish applications.

I'm too old to be climbing on ladders to wash my truck. I use a brushless wash and it's seems to be going a great job so far.

Now my Boss 302, that's another story....

5 gallon bucket. Cheap car wash soap. Water. 409 for the tires. Micro-fiber wash mitt. Ladder (for reaching the roof and middle of the tonneau). Neither my previous ingot silver 2012 or this 2016 platinum white truck show dirt very badly.
